Shipping & Orders
Where do you ship from?
We're based in Ridgefield, WA — just outside Portland, OR. Orders are packed and shipped from our studio.
How long does shipping take?
In-stock orders ship within 24 hours. Domestic orders typically arrive in 3–5 business days after that. International orders ship via UPS — transit times vary by destination. Custom printed orders have a separate production time before they ship — see below.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. International orders go out via UPS. Duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unprinted paper within 14 days of delivery. A 15% restocking fee applies, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Custom and printed orders are final sale — we cannot accept returns on work made specifically for you. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll replace it at no charge. Just reach out within 7 days with a photo.
The Paper
What does "handmade" actually mean?
Every sheet is made by hand in our studio from recycled cotton fiber — in small batches, one pour at a time. No two sheets are identical. That's the point. The texture, weight, and warmth you feel comes from the process, not a machine.
Is Bliss paper actually 100% cotton?
Yes. Every paper and envelope we sell today is 100% cotton, no exceptions — that's a claim we hold ourselves to, not just marketing language.
What's the difference between deckle edge and cut edge?
Just the edge. Deckle edge is soft, organic, and slightly irregular — the look most people picture when they think of handmade paper. Cut edge is clean and precise, a more modern finish. Same 100% cotton fiber, same weight, same quality either way — it's purely a matter of the look you want for your project.
What paper works best for wedding invitations?
Most couples choose a deckle edge for a soft, handmade feel, or a cut edge for a cleaner, more formal look. Both take foil and letterpress beautifully. If you're not sure which fits your suite, our sample pack is the easiest way to compare them side by side before you order.
Printing & Custom Work
Can you print on my paper?
Yes — for orders of 25 or more sheets. We print directly on our cotton paper for invitations, stationery, art prints, and more. To get started, visit our Bring Your Vision page or email your files to info@blisscottonpaper.com.
How long does a printed order take?
Production on printed orders is approximately two weeks from file approval, then it ships within 24 hours of completion. Need it faster? Reach out before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.
What file format do you need for printing?
PDF is preferred. Files should be at least 300 dpi with 0.125" bleed on all sides. If you're working with a designer, share these specs with them. We'll flag any issues before we go to press.
