Place Card Creator
Make place cards for your whole guest list in minutes. Paste your names or upload a spreadsheet, Word file, or text file, pick a style, and download a print-ready PDF — flat cards or tented cards that fold in the middle. Everything runs right here in your browser; your guest list is never uploaded anywhere.
Your guest list
Files can be Excel (.xlsx), Word (.docx), text (.txt), or CSV. A spreadsheet can have a header row with columns named Name (or First and Last), Table, and Meal — Table fills the sub heading and Meal picks the image.
| # | Name | Sub heading | Image |
|---|
Click a number to preview that card. Edit any name, sub heading, or image right in the list. To force where a name breaks onto two lines, type a | between the parts — for example Mary Ann|Smith-Jones.
Card size & names
Choose a typeface
Each tile shows a name from your list in that face. Names are sized automatically so every one fits inside the card.
Border, color & sub heading
Prints in small capitals on every card. A Table column in your file, or a sub heading typed into the list above, overrides it for that guest.
Images (optional)
Add up to six small images — for example a chicken, beef, vegetarian, or seafood icon. The image prints in the bottom-right corner of the card. Give each one a label (the label is only for you and is not printed), then pick an image for each guest in the list above. If your spreadsheet has a Meal column, name each image to match — an image labeled Chicken is assigned to every guest whose Meal says Chicken.

Print at 100% (“Actual size”), not “Fit to page.” On sheets, the small marks in the margins show where to cut.
